Once

I went to see the indie music/love story at a nearby theater that shows "artsy" films. Here's my short review:

Great music and characters in an enjoyable if unsatisfying film.

Here's a little more:
Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová make an amazing singing team. I got chills when they sang together
The cinematography (by professional Tim Fleming) has not only an "independent film" feel but also a "home movie" feel. At first I thought it was bad camera work -- it appears as thought that was the intent.
I want to get "The Swell Season" (Glen and Marketa's record) or maybe anything by The Frames.
The ending left me wanting and haunted by what wasn't. I guess that was the intent, too.

The pet vacuum was a great touch.
