Chess

I love that Chess wants to be an Olympic sport. I know that it isn't athletic. I know that it isn't all that exciting for most either. However, I'm thrilled that they're trying.
This whole drug testing is something they need to do to follow the rules for Olympic sports. I've had a few snickers about the news, and I don't think performance-enhancing drugs are much of a problem in chess (although amphetamines may be, right? I have no idea tho) But if they're going to play, I applaud them for following the rules to be in the game.
That's my opinion. What's yours?

Charles Barkley and the UCC?

Mr. Barkley has never shied away from speaking his mind. He's also never shied away from going strong to the basket for a hoop or a rebound. (OK -- he doesn't play anymore, but he never did when he played.)
Now he's speaking as a person who might want to try his hand at running for Governor in Alabama, sounds like someone who is looking for a UCC church to attend:

I'm get what you mean, Charles. Although I think that you've experienced only one way religious people can act. None of us are perfect. For a different perspective, I hope you'll come and visit us in the UCC-- because you are welcome -- no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey. If you're ever in the Chicago area, c'mon over!
