I just watched Bono's acceptance speech from the 2007 NAACP image awards.

Bono spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast this week -- challenging the US government to give 1% more of it's budget to serve the poor, the sick, and the oppressed in our world.
His appeal is on the basis of justice and equality for all.
Bono's comments got some news play -- but I hope it gets a whole lot more.
