Transformers

I saw this week's big movie this afternoon. Here's my short review:

Nonstop action with more than meets the eye.

Here's a bit more:

• Clumsy autobots make me laugh the way Clifford the Big Red Dog made me laugh when I was a child.
• The new Chevy Camaro is HOT
• Shia Lebeouf and Megan Fox make a cute couple after awhile.
• Jon Voight is still a commanding presence on the screen
• John Turturro became one of my favorite actors in "O Brother Where Art Thou." I still look forward to seeing him every time he's on the big or small screen.
• Underneath all the action is a deep message about willingness to sacrifice self to save others.

It was fun, loud, action-packed and even a little bit moving.
