This one is really interesting

No Matter Who You Are, or Where You Are on Life's Journey -- You're Welcome Here . . .

It looks like the United Church of Christ and one of our most celebrated ordained ministers, Andrew Young, are in disagreement over "the Wal-Mart Question".

The UCC has been a supporter of the critics of Wal-Mart and ran a large article in the United Church News in November 2005.

Andrew Young, the civil rights icon, former Mayor of Atlanta and ordained UCC minister, says that Wal-Mart offers "some of the best entry level jobs that are available to poor people. And they also make products available to the working poor." And he believes much of the criticism levied against Wal-Mart is wrong.

This is one of those perfect times to show that how we conduct ourselves when we disagree is really more important than who is right. When it's all about being right -- people are the ones who end up suffering.
