Narcissism

I have my own website
I write a blog because I like to see myself write
I love it when people tell me how great I am
I hate it when people criticize me
The things I do in life are designed to make my life better
When people are affected in a positive way to the things I say, I pat myself of the back
When people are affected in a negative way to the things I say, I say that they just don't get it
How can I be all about God's work when clearly my motivation is all about me?

Is there a chance that "Love your neighbor as yourself" could put a positive spin on my narcissism?

An afterthought: Do you find it peculiar that the spellchecker on this blog does not recognize the word "blog?"

Another afterthought: I also find it peculiar that the spellchecker doesn't recognize "spellchecker."

i liked this post, and i agree. i feel like a lot of my wanting to move to central america to work with the poor is ALL ABOUT ME. it's disgusting, really. at the same time, i feel like God uses us anyway. God's not deceived about the fact that we exploit our relationship with God for ourselves.

PS. spellchecker isn't a word. the blog thing is a little odd, though :)

I did find two places where spellchecker is listed in a glossary. Try define:spellchecker on a google search
