Yesterday our
group was at another two worksites. One group headed to Harmony House in La Porte, Indiana to do some landscaping and gardening. While we were working, a young boy inside was watching and anticipating. He came outside later and told us he was so excited for the playground being cleaned up!The other group stayed nearby at Warren Dunes and worked on building a retaining wall to help keep the trail to the lake from disappearing.
There was digging, measuring, cutting, attaching, and standing in the river, too!Weather put a hold on last night's campfire, though we all relaxed with games, movies, and conversations.
