Kirk - Thanks for this! I once pastored a deaf congregation and have great appreciation for deaf culture and sensitivities. We changed the words in hymns to make them more appropriate (e.g "he walks with me and he signs with me...") and, of course, as a hearing person I was the one who needed "healing" - I had to learn sign language - Bill
