In this week’s Bible reading from John 17:6-19, Jesus prays that the disciples will be protected and that they will be sent to continue his work. He asks God to sanctify them in the truth.
If only our experience was as easy as suddenly understanding all that is necessary – all that is good – all that is True.
I think most often we find ourselves seeking what is all-too-elusive. We continue asking the question of Pontius Pilate.
