Joe

My father-in-law for more than 21 years, and a man who welcomed a teenage kid into the family 4 years earlier, died peacefully last night after a 29 month journey with bile duct cancer. I'm better for having known this man and have proudly called him "Dad" since just before Cassie and I were married. The family has kept an extensive blog of Joe's journey over the past two and a half years. Please keep the whole Coburn family (and me, too!) in your prayers at this difficult time.

Here are the arrangement details:

Visitation: Friday from 4-9 pm
Funeral: Saturday at 10 A.M.
Both will be held at Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Drive, Romeoville, 60446.

A couple of years ago we uploaded a video of this moving, true story that Joe used to tell the family at Christmas.

A Tree For Christmas
