Kung Fu Panda

I caught the Sunday matinee of the newest Jack Black family-friendly animated flick. Here's my short review:


An OK film with a great central message and lots of laughs.


Here's a little more:

• Sunday matinees of family-friendly movies are really noisy.
• Jack Black's lines made me laugh out loud on several occasions.
• Believe in yourself and follow your dreams -- a great message to share with anyone.
• Favorite line: (by Seth Rogan as Mantis) "I wish my mouth was bigger!"
• I wonder what really happens with the Wu Shi finger hold when Po finishes off Tia Lung with his pinky . . .

Early box office results suggest that there'll be a Kung Fu Panda II -- but I'm not holding my breath.
