Iron Man

I went to the early Thursday night show of the summer's first big film last night. Here's my short review:

Acting, action, great effects and two of the greatest songs ever -- this is a great movie!

Here's a little more:

• Robert Downey Jr. is one of Hollywood's greatest actors. His life struggles make his portrayal of Tony Stark even more believable
• That said -- this is still a comic book movie -- and totally and unbelievable
• But still - an unbelievable movie can still make a powerful political statement
• Now I'm rambling in bullet points! There are lots of bullets in this movie.
• There is some great acting in this movie from Gwyneth Paltrow, Terrence Howard and Jeff Bridges.
• Did you catch Stan Lee's cameo? Hilarious!
• John Favreau directed this film to perfection
• I don't have anything negative to say about this film -- it's all good

There will be many sequels . . .
